UX Designer at StoryShift

About Us

StoryShift.ai is a customer experience software platform dedicated to helping organizations transform their digital experiences. We partner with Fortune 500 companies to deliver innovative, human-centered solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Our platform enables personalized content and experiences at scale.

The Role

We're looking for a UX Designer to help shape intuitive and impactful experiences for our enterprise clients. As a designer at StoryShift, you'll collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate user insights into thoughtful, data-driven designs. You'll play a key role in problem discovery, prototyping, and continuous iteration—ensuring our solutions are not just visually compelling, but also drive meaningful outcomes for our clients.

What We're Looking For

  • You're a complexity whisperer. Where others see overwhelming systems, you see opportunities to create order, meaning, and delight.
  • You're a natural translator. You move fluidly between user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints, helping different teams understand each other.
  • Your design craft is exceptional. Your command of interaction patterns, information architecture, and visual design principles helps you create experiences that feel effortless.
  • Engineers consider you a partner, not just a handoff. You understand implementation realities and design with them in mind, creating solutions that are both visionary and viable.
  • You're prolific rather than precious. You explore multiple approaches and use iteration as a tool for discovery rather than getting attached to your first idea.
  • You make the invisible visible. You excel at mapping complex systems and workflows, finding patterns and creating mental models that make sense to users.
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity. Enterprise challenges rarely have clear-cut solutions, and you thrive in the space between "what is" and "what could be."
  • You think in systems, not screens. You design cohesive experiences across touchpoints rather than isolated moments or interfaces.
  • You're experienced with complex B2B products. You've designed for data-rich environments with sophisticated workflows and understand the unique challenges of enterprise software.
  • You're accessibility-minded. You believe great experiences should be available to everyone and design with inclusive principles from the start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prototyping & Wire-framing – Develop prototypes and wireframes to create shared understanding and gather early feedback before development.
  • Data-Driven Insights – Leverage analytics tools to analyze user behavior, track feature adoption, and inform design decisions.
  • Continuous Testing & Validation – Conduct usability testing, iterate on designs, and proactively seek insights to refine and improve solutions. Uses feedback and data to drive decisions.
  • Outcome-Oriented Design – Go beyond intuitive UI; help define and shape the right solutions for the most impactful problems.
  • Journey Mapping & Information Architecture – Create intuitive structures and flows that help users navigate complex information environments.

The Experience We're Looking For

  • Solid proficiency in user journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping and UI design
  • Strong understanding of Information Architecture and Interaction Design
  • Hands-on experience with user testing and a data-informed approach to design
  • Experience in designing user interfaces for large commercial SaaS products or B2B web-based software, especially those that are data-rich with complex scenarios and workflows
  • Familiarity with web accessibility best practices and working knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • A portfolio showcasing your approach to complex design challenges
  • Ability to communicate design decisions with clarity and confidence
