We're seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at Storyblocks. In this role, you'll help build and maintain systems that power our payments, checkout, and monetization experiences, supporting both e-commerce and enterprise customers. What You Will Do:

As a member of the Product Engineering team at Storyblocks, the leading platform for motion stock media, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining features that support our e-commerce and enterprise customers, as well as internal teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing user-facing interfaces with Next.js and Builder
Creating and maintaining backend microservices using Nest.js
Developing consumer subscription features using Recurly
Building tools to help our internal teams better support customers
Architecting and maintaining our billing, user management, and API systems

You'll work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to design, implement, test, and deploy high-quality solutions that move the business forward.

Required

3+ years of full-stack engineering experience
Strong proficiency in modern technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, and PHP
Proven experience with distributed systems architecture
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams

Preferred

Frontend development experience with React and Next.js
Backend development experience with Nest.js
Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
Experience working in a Turborepo monorepo environment
Track record of designing and implementing internal/external APIs

Competitive and fair compensation: We believe in fair pay--equal pay for equal work. For each title, we consistently apply competitive salary bands based on market data and benchmarks which are reviewed twice a year. What you've been paid before, fear of conflict, or willingness to negotiate does not play a part in determining your pay.
The annual base salary range for this position is $124,000 - $138,000. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.
