This is an opportunity for an experienced design leader to manage the integrated design delivery of major hyperscale and colocation data center developments for one of the fastest-growing privately held platforms in the industry.

You will take ownership of projects from early development and preconstruction through design, construction, commissioning, and operational turnover. Working across architecture, electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and controls disciplines, you will ensure the design is coordinated, buildable, commercially viable, and aligned with customer requirements.

This is a high-impact role for someone who understands complex data center infrastructure and can lead external design teams, challenge technical decisions, and maintain control of design scope, schedule, cost, and risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead integrated design delivery for major data center projects
• Manage architects, engineers, consultants, and third-party design partners
• Drive design schedules, deliverables, reviews, approvals, and stage gates
• Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and controls disciplines
• Translate customer requirements into coordinated, construction-ready designs
• Identify design risks, variances, and constructability issues before they affect delivery
• Partner with Construction, Development, Procurement, Operations, and Commissioning teams
• Support project budgets, cost models, funding requests, and executive reporting
• Lead design teams across multiple projects, buildings, or campus developments

Required Experience:

• 9+ years of progressive design, engineering, or construction management experience
• Strong data center or mission-critical design and construction experience
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants
• Strong understanding of data center MEP infrastructure and system integration
• Experience leading projects through preconstruction, design development, construction, and turnover
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, schedules, scopes of work, and technical submissions
• Working knowledge of design-build, integrated project delivery, and construction management
• Experience managing design cost, schedule, change, risk, and stakeholder approvals
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field

Preferred Experience:

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background
• Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation developments
• Knowledge of commissioning and operational readiness requirements
• Experience with Smartsheet, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms
• Previous responsibility for multiple projects or buildings within a large data center campus

• Highly organized and capable of coordinating multiple technical workstreams
• Strong communicator who can work effectively with customers and senior stakeholders
• Focused on constructability, standardization, speed to market, and continuous improvement
