âš¡ Position Overview:
You’ll lead the product vision and roadmap for advanced transmission planning capabilities within a next-generation power market simulation platform. The role bridges deep technical subject matter with customer-centric product leadership and offers full ownership of transmission planning products used across the U.S. and global markets.
âš¡ Key Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver the product vision for nodal transmission planning use cases including: Transmission adequacy, Generation siting & deliverability and FTR/congestion modeling
- Lead strategy, roadmap planning, and execution for transmission products
- Translate customer and market needs into clear, detailed product requirements and user stories
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, UX, sales, solution engineers, and marketing
- Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to validate needs and support adoption
- Support go-to-market efforts and product launches
- Monitor product success and adjust strategies based on performance metrics
âš¡ Qualifications Needed:
- Proficiency with PSS/E, PowerWorld, or similar transmission planning tools (AC/DC load flows)
- Deep understanding of transmission planning methodologies, power system economics, and nodal market design
- Knowledge of SCUC/SCED, production cost modeling, and LMP formation
- Experience with generation interconnection, transmission model development, and planning standards
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to write clear product requirements and acceptance criteria
- Ability to collaborate with remote teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

- Experience using PLEXOS or similar production cost modeling platforms
- Familiarity with market simulation, congestion analysis, or FTR modeling
- Background in clean energy integration or decarbonization-focused grid planning
- Experience supporting software products in a B2B environment
