As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll be leading the development of core backend systems, helping shape the future of wellness-focused digital experiences. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, architecture, implementation, testing, and live operations of backend features across platforms
Develop scalable, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on long-term stability
Take ownership of key components in the platform’s tech stack
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and delivery timelines
Explore and integrate new technologies, frameworks, and development workflows to improve performance and capabilities
Deploy and maintain backend services to ensure smooth, scalable product launches

Required Skills & Experience:

6-9+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, scalable system design)
Clean coding habits and adherence to modern development standards
Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and effective debugging practices
Experience with user account systems, including subscription entitlements
Proven track record in backend development (API design, cloud infrastructure, database management)
Familiarity with microservices and serverless architecture
Experience with NoSQL (especially Firebase) and/or RDBMS
Skilled in backend frameworks such as Node.js (or similar)
Comfortable with cloud platforms (especially Google Cloud Platform), Docker, and Kubernetes
Demonstrated experience scaling services and monitoring live environments
