We are working with a mission-first-oriented software company that is democratizing and personalizing healthcare forever. Too many people make health decisions on best guesses, without tracking and with no quantifiable proof of results. Mixing in all the disinformation, contradicting expert viewpoints, and diets of the month it’s no wonder people are confused, frustrated, and overwhelmed. For this reason their mission is to create a world free of metabolic disease, optimizing how we consume, store, and use energy for sustainable health.

They are on the hunt for a mid-level full stack engineer to help revolutionize the health and wellness industry:

Responsibilities:

• Building out internal analytics reports
• Coding reusable front-end components
• Building and maintaining server-side logic and APIs
• Working with databases (PostgreSQL)
• Implementing algorithms and data structures
• Collaborating with other developers, designers, and product managers
• Participating in code reviews
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
• Analyzing data to improve existing systems
• Implementing product features
• Implementing performance and operational enhancements

Requirements:

• Extremely strong communicator who can deliver tasks on schedule
• General understanding of code from front-end to back-end
• Experience working in an early-stage environments a plus
• Has lived and breathed systems and optimization of development speed

Skills

• Mastery of a well documented/supported front end framework (ie. React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, etc..)
• Ruby on Rails
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML
