Storm3 is partnering with a healthtech company at the forefront of healthcare and advanced technology. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing integrations with third-party scheduling systems, and clinical tools to support their clinical operations teams.

This is a unique opportunity to tackle complex engineering challenges and contribute to the future of AI-powered healthcare in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java and experience developing microservices using Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of API design and development, including RESTful services, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and third-party API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems, particularly healthcare-related tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, enhance, and sustain backend services utilizing Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
• Plan and construct scalable integrations with third-party systems (e.g., scheduling software, EMRs, and healthcare tools) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prioritize reliability, security, and scalability in integrations, adhering to compliance standards like HIPAA.
• Employ event-driven architectures to facilitate real-time communication between systems.
• Create and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
• Oversee and fine-tune system performance to accommodate rapid growth and large transaction volumes.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $160K - $180K + equity
• Remote
