Role Overview

As a Senior Data/AI/ML Software Engineer, you’ll design, implement, and improve the core components of our data-intensive platform. This is a highly technical role where you’ll work across AI/ML models, NLP, and large-scale data systems, building tools that clinicians rely on daily. You’ll collaborate directly with engineers and healthcare experts to solve complex problems and ship intelligent solutions that save lives.

What You’ll Do

• Build and improve clinical/health information extractors, summarizers, and decision-support features.
• Collect, transform, analyze, and mine structured/unstructured data to expand our clinical knowledge graph.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, AI/ML systems, and automations.
• Deploy secure, compliant solutions aligned with HIPAA and SOC 2.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts in hospital/clinical settings to align tech with real-world workflows.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties to ensure system reliability.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML software engineering.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, Linux, Git, Jupyter/Streamlit.
• Proven experience in data wrangling, modeling, and algorithm design.
• Hands-on expertise with ML/NLP techniques, libraries, and tools.
• Clear communication skills to translate complex technical insights.
• Bonus: experience with Django, FastAPI, PyTorch, PostgreSQL, dbt, BigQuery, GCP, LLM prompt engineering, or web frameworks.
• Extra Credit: familiarity with healthcare or medical data domains.
