About the Role
The Data Scientist role is critical for developing analytics capabilities. Your work will focus on providing data-driven insights from a wide range of structured and unstructured data sources, including platform data, payer claims, health information exchange feeds, and EHRs. You'll become a subject matter expert on all things data, working closely with clinical, operations, product, and engineering teams to develop the technology and services that enable multi-disciplinary, community-based treatment teams to provide compassionate care to individuals living with severe mental illness.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate across the company to design and implement clinical, operational, financial, and product KPIs
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships within the data, presenting findings to drive maximum impact
- Evolve core data models to support emerging use cases, and develop frameworks and testing strategies to maintain high data quality
- Design, develop, and validate production-ready statistical models and machine learning algorithms
- Build out the reporting and dashboarding layer to support self-service analytics
- Partner with data engineers to develop internal data tooling
- Work with data and software engineers to integrate analytical outputs into user-facing applications
About You
- 5-7 years of analytics experience, including at least 2 years working with healthcare data
- Advanced SQL skills, including familiarity with dbt
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis (experience with PySpark a plus)
- Experience applying statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques to real-world problems
- Strong understanding of experimental design, hypothesis testing, and causal inference
- Experience with analytical data stores like Delta Lake, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.
- Experience with Databricks strongly preferred
- Familiarity with data visualization and dashboarding tools
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate on a growing team
