Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 💲

Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building a next-generation platform to modernize financial operations for mid-sized and enterprise companies. They’re looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team and play a key role in shaping and scaling their product as they continue their growth trajectory.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work alongside seasoned engineers and product leaders to build a robust and scalable AI-powered platform. As a Staff Engineer, you’ll own major parts of the technical stack and product architecture, contributing across the full development lifecycle — from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build out data and reporting capabilities for customers' financial data, enabling advanced analytics and actionable insights
• Design and develop scalable backend and frontend systems
• Build services that support financial data processing, reconciliation, analytics, and reporting
• Lead infrastructure configuration, deployment, and monitoring
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborate closely with product and design to deliver seamless user experiences
• Drive features using AI/ML for forecasting and anomaly detection

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, with hands-on experience in React and Node.js
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Experience with data, reporting, analytics, data warehousing, or similar skills (e.g. BigQuery)
• Experience with AI/ML/Data Science, particularly building features like forecasting or anomaly detection

Nice to Haves

• Enterprise SaaS experience
• Fintech or accounting tech experience
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems like QuickBooks or Salesforce
• Experience with financial modeling, analytics, or data science
