Senior Marketing Manager – Credit Card Portfolios (Remote)
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead growth initiatives across multiple credit union credit card portfolios. This is a remote, hands-on role where you’ll own multi-channel campaigns, optimize member engagement, and drive portfolio performance while working closely with senior leadership.
💰 Compensation: $140,000 – $150,000 base salary + performance-based bonus
What You’ll Do
Campaign Execution & Management
- Launch and manage campaigns across digital, print, and in-branch channels (web, social, email, SMS, direct mail).
- Oversee project timelines, creative briefs, and campaign rollouts across multiple portfolios.
- Partner with in-house designers, direct copy development, and manage vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with offshore resources and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
Portfolio Growth & Engagement
- Develop acquisition campaigns to increase credit card penetration among credit union members.
- Create retention and utilization strategies to boost spend and reduce attrition.
- Manage cardholder communications, including promotions, inserts, and special offers.
- Optimize campaigns based on performance metrics and ROI.
Performance & Strategy
- Analyze campaign results and convert insights into actionable improvements.
- Monitor penetration, utilization, and attrition metrics to guide decision-making.
- Present performance updates and recommendations to leadership.
- Adjust tactics by portfolio to maximize outcomes.
Compliance & Operations
- Partner with compliance teams and issuing banks to ensure all campaigns meet financial services regulations.
- Align campaigns with brand standards while respecting individual credit union requirements.
- Manage marketing calendars, budgets, and resource allocation across portfolios.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of financial services marketing experience, ideally in credit cards or credit unions.
- Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns and multiple projects at once.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CFPB and other financial services regulations.
- Data-driven approach to campaign optimization.
Preferred
- Experience with credit union or community banking marketing.
- Background in managing remote or offshore teams.
- Knowledge of credit card trends and best practices.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
