Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning and predictive models for risk assessment and fraud prevention.
• Architect and optimize complex data pipelines (ETL) and storage frameworks using PySpark, Scala, and Hive.
• Manage and mentor data scientists, ensuring best practices in model development and documentation.
• Translate business needs into analytic design and actionable insights for leadership.
• Research and integrate new analytical techniques and technologies to enhance data science capabilities.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration on major business initiatives involving analytics and data engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics within data-rich environments.
• 7+ years of experience with large-scale data manipulation and efficient programming.
• Expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and optimization techniques.
• Advanced programming experience in PySpark, Scala, and Hive; strong SQL and Python (pandas, scikit-learn) skills.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and communicate findings to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience with financial or transactional data preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $158,000–$205,000 (Phoenix/Chicago) or $189,000–$230,000 (New York/San Francisco)
• Incentive plan: Discretionary bonus
