Senior User Experience Designer

Sr. UX Designer - REMOTE (CONTRACT)

We are seeking a highly skilled digital designer with 6+ years of progressive experience in visual design, design systems, and ideally some background in Service Design and Service Mapping. The ideal candidate will have expert-level proficiency in Figma, with hands-on experience managing design libraries, tokens, and documentation. Strong knowledge in defining patterns, style guides, user testing, and prototyping is essential. A solid understanding of software development processes and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with developers is required. Additionally, candidates should be adept at applying and facilitating iterative discovery, design thinking, and co-creation methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in UX Design, human-computer interaction, or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 6+ years of progressive experience in digital design, visual design and design systems.
• Highly skilled in Figma (a must), with experience managing design libraries, tokens, and documentation.
• A portfolio (with link on resume) showcasing design systems work, including contributions to component libraries, interaction patterns, and scalable UI frameworks
• Experience defining patterns, style guides, performing user testing, and prototyping.
• Understanding of modern UX Design tooling landscape (e.g., Figma, AI-generated research synthesis, AI-driven content automation, ChatGPT, CoPilot)
• Experience implementing or integrating AI tooling in design workflows.
• Experience with design system governance and contribution models.
• Service Design and Service Mapping experience
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence, using structured thinking, frameworks, and facilitation tools to bring clarity and align stakeholders
• Solid understanding of software development and how to collaborate with developers
• Self-starter with exceptional time management and organizational skills, with laser-sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
