About the Role:
As a Localization Marketing Assistant Manager, you’ll lead the adaptation of high-impact marketing campaigns for a premier global retail client, ensuring culturally tailored messaging across diverse markets. You’ll oversee end-to-end localization, collaborating with translators, regional teams, and digital marketers to refine campaigns for international audiences. Your expertise will ensure brand consistency, SEO optimization, and seamless adaptation across all digital touchpoints—from e-commerce platforms to social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead localization projects for DTC marketing campaigns, ensuring content resonates across languages and cultures (websites, emails, social media, digital ads, etc.)
- Collaborate with language specialists, regional teams, and freelancers to maintain brand voice while adapting for cultural relevance
- Optimize SEO-driven localized content to enhance discoverability and engagement in international markets
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to guarantee accuracy, tone, and compliance with brand guidelines
- Manage project timelines and workflows using tools like Asana, Trello, or LARK, ensuring on-time delivery
- Mentor junior team members and freelancers, fostering best practices in localization and cross-cultural marketing
- Partner with creative, digital, and strategy teams to align messaging across global markets
- Continuously refine localization processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and ROI
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years in marketing localization, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or agency settings
- Proven experience working with international translation teams and adapting content for cultural nuances
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and SEO, with experience in CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress)
- Proficiency in localization tools (e.g., Smartling, Transifex) and project management software
- Exceptional attention to detail with a brand-first mindset
- Leadership skills—able to guide teams and freelancers with clarity and confidence
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach—thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment
