Founding Software Engineer

Our company builds conversational AI agents that handle inbound and outbound phone calls for HVAC businesses. Our agents answer and place calls, qualify leads, book and schedule jobs, and resolve questions around the clock, at a speed and consistency human call centers can't match. In home services, every missed call is a missed job and every booking counts. We help HVAC businesses capture more revenue without growing headcount.

About the Role

We're looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering and product thinking. You'll own features end-to-end. You'll design, build, launch, and iterate across our entire stack, including the real-time voice pipeline, the backend infrastructure, and the analytics dashboard. Your work will directly shape how HVAC businesses and their customers experience an AI that answers and places calls.

What You'll Do

• Own feature development from backend services to customer experiences.
• Build and improve our voice pipeline, including streaming audio over WebSockets, with an obsession for low latency.
• Turn call performance and customer feedback into product improvements through rapid iteration and experimentation.
• Hold a high bar for code quality, reliability, and monitoring.
• Prioritize ruthlessly and navigate changing requirements with autonomy.

What You'll Bring

• 3 to 5 years of full-stack engineering experience. Less experience is welcome too, provided you have meaningful projects or internships to show.
• Strong Python (Flask or Django) and solid React, Next.js, and TypeScript skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Comfort integrating third-party APIs.
• Strong familiarity with AI tools.
• Low ego, high energy, resilient in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate proactively and clearly.
