UX Designer with HMI focus

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer with a broader automotive and mobility domain background experience, who demonstrably can design simple yet highly engaging connected product experiences that push the limits of innovation and put the user in focus. Your global team of colleagues includes software and hardware technologists — together you will be tasked with creating industry-defining products.

_Qualifications & experience:

_

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of Service Design, Interaction Design, Design Thinking, UX Design, or another relevant program;
• 2-5 years of professional experience working in cross-disciplinary teams and guiding small teams of junior team members;
• Automotive & Mobility design experience (either with OEM/Tier1 or agency/consultancy) working in areas such as infotainment, navigation, ADAS, HMI, connected services, mobility, or other future mobility services;
• An intrinsic motivation to challenge the status-quo;
• The ability to think analytically and cross-pollinate ideas to novel solutions;
• A passion for human-centered design as a means to problem-solving;
• A profound understanding of the possibilities provided by digital technology;
• Empathy for the people you work with and the people you design for;
• The ability to express an optimistic spirit; because, above all, we need your smile and personality;
• Advanced knowledge of Swedish language;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English, both written and spoken.

_Nice to have:

_

• Experience working with specific UX/UI design and prototyping tools for Automotive (e.g. Kanzi, Altia, Unreal Engine, CGI Studio, Unity, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay);
• Experience coding functional prototypes using JavaScript in combination with tools such as Framer and Axure;
• The ability to mock-up or prototype experiences in VR/AR; and
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.
• Experience working in some of our key business and technology domains: Financial services, Healthcare & life sciences, Media & Advertisement.

• Collaborate proactively to achieve a joint effort;
• Act as an integral part of a cross-functional team;
• Communicate professionally and effectively in English (ideally, with proficiency in another language as well);
• Contribute to sales processes and client networking;
• Scope and manage projects and maintain and expand the client relationship;
• Manage project budgets and deadlines to remain on time and on target;
• Facilitate engaging co-creative workshops (virtually or in-person) with clients and team members to build a consensus and enable next steps;
• Lead 1-2 design projects simultaneously, overseeing team efforts to ensure projects are delivered to clients’ expectations;
• Master the full design process including user research, experience strategy and ideation, prototyping, validation and implementation;
• Master state-of-the-art UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe CC (Framer);
• Share your knowledge of design methods, tools and trends with the rest of the team.
