Construction Project Manager

Overview:

Staffix Professional Staffing is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing construction company specializing in large-scale industrial builds across the Woodbridge and Vaughan area. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in concrete or cement work to lead critical industrial construction projects from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of concrete/cement projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out

• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and subcontractor coordination

• Interpret and execute project specifications, drawings, and scope documents

• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards and building codes

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support teams

• Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders

• Prepare and track reports, change orders, timelines, and project documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in concrete or cement work within industrial or commercial construction

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols

• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple subcontractor teams

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to job sites

Assets:

• Education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training

• Experience with formwork, tilt-up, or cast-in-place concrete systems
