Position Overview
We are seeking a web designer with a strong blend of UX strategy, visual design, and hands-on website building experience. This individual will take ownership of projects from initial concept through launch, creating polished, high-converting websites using modern visual website platforms rather than traditional coding-heavy development.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in user experience design, understands how to translate business objectives into intuitive digital experiences, and can independently execute and publish responsive websites with a high level of design accuracy.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the full website creation process, including discovery, planning, wireframing, design, buildout, testing, and launch
- Develop user-focused site structures, navigation flows, and layouts that support engagement and conversion goals
- Design modern, responsive interfaces and scalable design systems within Figma while maintaining strong brand consistency
- Build and deploy websites using platforms such as Webflow, WordPress (Elementor/Divi), or comparable visual builders, ensuring the final product closely aligns with approved designs
- Oversee launch readiness, including mobile responsiveness, domain setup, basic SEO configuration, and quality assurance testing
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and strategy teams to ensure website experiences align with broader campaign and business objectives
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of professional web design experience with demonstrated success launching live websites
- Advanced expertise in Figma, including high-fidelity mockups, component systems, and scalable design workflows
- Strong experience building websites within Webflow, WordPress, or similar no-code/low-code platforms without relying heavily on custom development
- Portfolio showcasing visually refined, user-friendly, and conversion-oriented web experiences
- Ability to independently manage timelines and drive projects from concept through production
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions and collaborate effectively with both clients and internal stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including metadata, page structure, and image optimization within CMS platforms
- Experience creating landing pages and digital experiences focused on conversion optimization and user engagement
- Familiarity with marketing integrations such as CRM-connected forms, analytics tools, and tracking pixel implementation
