Your Role in the Global Marketing Team
As Director of Global Marketing, Kits & Consumables, you’ll join our Global Sales & Marketing organization and play a key role in driving commercial success. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Demand Planning, Finance, Regulatory teams, and R&D to ensure your strategic efforts are aligned across functions. We operate at a fast pace and work across geographies—Denmark, the US, and China.
Reporting to the SVP Global Head of Sales & Marketing, Kits & Consumables, you’ll help build and integrate our global organization as we continue to grow organically and through acquisitions. You’ll shape marketing strategies across our gastrointestinal, respiratory, and bloodborne portfolios, and help evolve the marketing team as priorities expand. You’ll work alongside talented industry colleagues with significant responsibilities tied to our strategy and business agenda.
What You’ll Be Driving
Global Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute global marketing strategies across all IVD diagnostic segments.
- Define strategic priorities and growth plans aligned with corporate goals and regional needs.
- Lead market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer insight initiatives to guide decision-making.
Portfolio Management
- Serve as global portfolio lead for Kits & Consumables, ensuring lifecycle management, investment prioritization, and coordinated product roadmaps.
- Monitor product performance across regions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize portfolio mix and pipeline strategy.
- Define global KPIs and metrics to measure product success and market impact.
Campaign Development
- Lead development and global rollout of integrated marketing campaigns for key gastrointestinal and respiratory products.
- Ensure campaigns are customer-centric, data-driven, and adaptable to regional needs.
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and communication teams to produce compelling content, tools, and digital assets.
Product & Commercial Readiness
- Partner with regional marketing teams to optimize global product launch readiness, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market planning.
- Coordinate pre-launch planning and post-launch support with clinical affairs, regulatory, and commercial operations.
- Deliver global training programs and launch toolkits to regional marketing and sales teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate efforts across global functions including R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regional Commercial Leads.
- Provide strategic input to pipeline development and new product innovation.
- Work closely with regional teams to ensure campaign execution aligns with market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Support Sales teams with marketing operations and consolidate global commercial budget needs.
External Engagement & Market Influence
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), industry partners, and global stakeholders to inform strategy and elevate product visibility.
- Represent the company at global conferences, advisory boards, and industry forums.
Leading the Global Marketing Forum
- Mentor and coach regional marketing teams on brand planning, budgeting, and campaign development.
- Build a centralized Marketing Operations function with shared resources for training, product planning, and communications.
- Lead the Global Marketing Forum to understand market dynamics and identify demand drivers and competitive strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and product launches to ensure ROI.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives as they evolve.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in diagnostics or life sciences, including 5+ years in global marketing and commercial leadership.
- Proven success in portfolio management and campaign development within IVD or molecular diagnostics.
- Expertise in gastrointestinal, respiratory, and/or bloodborne disease diagnostics.
- Experience launching and commercializing products across international markets.
Additional Details
This is a remote role for candidates based on the East Coast of the U.S., with 20–30% travel for commercial activities and key meetings.
