This is a HANDS-ON role for a senior WordPress/Elementor developer and designer who is an absolute expert in building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance websites with speed, precision, and efficiency.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes WordPress and Elementor—not a hobbyist or occasional freelancer. You must have deep experience with SiteGround (our hosting provider) and be a CSS master, as our site is mobile-first and requires pixel-perfect execution.

This is a role for someone who moves fast, can spin up new pages quickly, make seamless changes, and keep our website performing at an elite level. Full-time availability is required—this is not a side gig.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress (Elementor) Developer to take over as the webmaster of SQOR.ai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Designing, developing, and maintaining our WordPress website with a focus on speed, performance, and user experience.
Building and optimizing a mobile-first site with pixel-perfect precision.
Ensuring seamless integration with key business tools like HubSpot and Salesforce.
Rapidly deploying new pages and features with clean, efficient code.

Compensation

The role offers 30,000 shares of equity. Salaries will become available as funding and revenues permit. For now it is Equity-based only, and our entire team of 20 professionals are all equity-based for now.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Development and Maintenance

Build and maintain a high-performance, mobile-first WordPress site using Elementor.
Optimize for speed and SEO while ensuring a seamless user experience.
Manage our SiteGround hosting environment, ensuring top-tier performance.
Implement best practices in web development, ensuring maintainability and scalability.

Frontend Development

Translate designs into functional, pixel-perfect web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Ensure flawless responsiveness across all devices.
Implement animations, interactions, and UI enhancements for an engaging experience.

Backend Development and Integration

Customize WordPress backend functionalities, including custom post types, taxonomies, and admin panels.
Develop and maintain APIs for integrations with platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce.
Ensure security, performance, and scalability of the site.

Quality Assurance and Testing

Conduct thorough testing across multiple devices and browsers.
Fix bugs, optimize performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Implement best practices for SEO, accessibility, and security.

Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure the website aligns with business goals.
Provide technical guidance to ensure all web-based initiatives are executed efficiently.
Stay up to date with the latest WordPress and Elementor updates, trends, and best practices.

Project Management

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.
Coordinate with external vendors or contractors if needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development, with deep expertise in Elementor.
Mastery of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery—you must be able to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Expert-level CSS skills with a focus on pixel-perfect, mobile-first design.
Full understanding of SiteGround hosting and how to optimize for speed and security a plus.
Ability to spin up pages FAST—we move quickly, and you must too.
Strong portfolio showcasing past work—this is required for consideration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Strong attention to detail—we expect flawless execution, not sloppy work.
Ability to work full-time—this is not a side gig or a part-time project.
