Role Overview
We are looking for a Brand & Trade Marketing Manager with a minimum of 4 years of experience, responsible for developing and executing brand and trade marketing strategies at the country level, ensuring alignment with global marketing guidelines. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions, including sales, e-commerce, and innovation.
Responsibilities1. Brand Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with short- and long-term country goals.
- Adapt the global brand strategy to local marketing plans, ensuring consistency in brand positioning and messaging.
- Develop and implement the brand communication plan across both offline and online channels.
- Drive local sponsorship and PR initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement with target audiences.
- Own the brand innovation plan and execution, ensuring differentiation and market competitiveness.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and risks.
2. Trade Marketing Strategy & Implementation
- Design and execute trade marketing strategies to grow brand presence and sales in key channels (HoReCa, modern trade, traditional trade, etc.).
- Lead in-store visibility programs (on-trade and off-trade) to ensure a strong brand presence at the point of sale.
- Plan and run promotional activities in close collaboration with the sales team.
- Track and evaluate trade marketing performance using data-driven insights and continuously optimize.
3. Brand P&L Management
- Own and manage the brand P&L, ensuring achievement of volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Analyze actual vs. budget performance and collaborate with the commercial team to address deviations.
- Optimize marketing investments to ensure maximum ROI and cost efficiency.
4. Sales Support & E-commerce Strategy
- Provide brand and trade marketing support to the sales team, including POS materials and training.
- Support the development and implementation of the local e-commerce strategy from both brand and sales perspectives.
- Oversee marketplace brand execution to ensure consistency and growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in brand and trade marketing.
- Experience in the FMCG sector, preferably in beverages.
- Solid understanding of brand management and trade marketing.
- Experience managing brand P&L and marketing budgets.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent in Czech and proficient in English (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in executing brand activations in both on-trade and retail settings.
- Strong understanding of trade marketing mechanics, including menu placement, activations, and distributor engagement.
- Creative mindset with a hands-on, action-oriented approach.
