About the project

IFP (Infinite Future Protocol) is proposing to offer the same trading experience (liquidity, performance) as centralised derivatives exchanges, but as a decentralised, non custodial exchange. It achieved that by combining the best parts of centralised and decentralised trading infrastructure. We are starting with a DEX - IF Exchange which uses third party infrastructure and allows us to bootstrap. We will be building the protocol in the background while running the exchange and building the community and the ecosystem.

Role Overview

We are seeking a co-founder who will lead strategy, crypto and trading operations. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing the trading infrastructure, liquidity strategies, and market-making operations of our platform. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply experienced in Web3 trading, derivatives markets, and exchange operations. Experience with tokenomics, web 3 protocols, and fundraising will be hugely beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the vision and strategy
• Trading & Market Operations : Oversee market-making strategies, liquidity provision, and risk management.
• Optimize trading infrastructure to ensure deep liquidity and competitive spreads.
• Develop partnerships with liquidity providers, traders, and institutional market participants.
• Oversee tokenomics design, staking, and incentive structures.
• Contribute to product and business development
• Help with fundraising and business operations

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in Web3, DeFi, and crypto trading.
• Experience in a web 3 startup
• Deep knowledge of perpetual futures, options trading, and market structure.
• Experience with automated trading strategies, algorithmic market-making, or hedge fund operations.
• Strong understanding of liquidity mining, tokenomics, and smart contracts.
• A network in the Web3 trading community (exchanges, market makers, institutional traders).
• Ability to lead fundraising, partnerships, and exchange growth strategies.

Nice-to-Have:

• Technical background in blockchain development.
• Past experience in a CEX, DEX, or proprietary trading firm.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (VARA, MiCA, etc.).
• Experience in building and supporting a community
