Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to join our advanced analytics and AI team. This senior-level client-facing position requires a visionary data scientist who can architect and implement sophisticated machine learning solutions, lead AI strategy development, and drive the adoption of cutting-edge data science methodologies across the organization. The ideal candidate will design and deploy production-ready ML models, lead complex predictive analytics initiatives, mentor data science teams, and collaborate with executive leadership to identify transformative AI opportunities. This role combines deep technical expertise in machine learning and AI with strong business acumen and leadership skills to solve complex business challenges and unlock strategic competitive advantages.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Analytics & Data Science

• Lead complex analytical studies using advanced statistical methods, causal inference, and experimental design
• Develop and deploy real-time analytics solutions and automated insight generation systems
• Build sophisticated attribution models, customer lifetime value predictions, and behavioral analytics frameworks
• Implement advanced feature engineering, dimensionality reduction, and data transformation pipelines
• Design and execute large-scale A/B tests and multivariate experiments with statistical rigor
• Create proprietary algorithms and models that provide unique business value and competitive differentiation
• Establish data science standards, methodologies, and technical documentation across the organization

Strategic AI Implementation & Deployment

• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement high-impact AI use cases that enhance organizational efficiency and innovation
• Oversee the configuration, testing, and deployment of AI solutions across the organization, ensuring smooth integration into existing workflows
• Monitor and optimize the performance of implemented AI systems, providing continuous improvements and strategic recommendations
• Perform comprehensive data analysis to measure performance and ROI of AI initiatives, delivering actionable insights to executive stakeholders
• Collaborate with C-level executives to identify transformative AI opportunities and develop business cases for ML investments
• Lead the integration of AI capabilities into core business processes and decision-making frameworks
• Develop AI ethics guidelines, bias detection frameworks, and responsible AI practices to ensure compliance with regulations
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure scalable, robust, and secure deployment of ML models in production environments
• Establish and maintain best practices for data governance, ensuring data quality, security, and privacy across all AI initiatives

Team Leadership & AI Adoption

• Lead and mentor data scientists, AI engineers, and data analysts on advanced methodologies, best practices, and emerging technologies
• Drive organizational AI literacy and adoption by developing comprehensive training materials and leading educational workshops
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees using AI tools, ensuring proper utilization and addressing technical challenges
• Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the data science and broader organization
• Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth AI adoption across departments

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in data science, machine learning, or AI roles with demonstrated leadership in model development and deployment
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing AI tools and leading AI-related projects from conception to production
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or R with extensive experience in ML libraries. Advanced knowledge of AI technologies including natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, computer vision, and automation tools
• Extensive experience with cloud-based ML platforms
• Expert-level skills in SQL and experience with big data technologies
• Proven track record of developing and implementing custom LLMs and intelligent agents/bots
• Deep understanding of statistical inference, experimental design, causal analysis, and hypothesis testing
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex AI concepts into strategic business recommendations for executive and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional AI teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges
