About us: At Spin, recruitment is about more than filling roles; it’s about creating real human connections. We partner with leading U.S. companies to help them hire exceptional talent through a true direct-hire process, ensuring candidates join our clients’ teams directly while we support them throughout the journey.
About our partner: Join a team that operates at the intersection of AI and modern marketing, building a smarter, more agile operating model for go-to-market teams. With a growing portfolio of companies, they empower organizations to make better decisions earlier, connect audience intelligence to execution, and move faster with greater clarity.
As the company continues to scale, they are building a dynamic, always-on content engine that powers the full brand narrative—spanning executive voice, social, web, PR, events, sales enablement, investor communications, and portfolio storytelling.
About the role: We are looking for a UX Designer with deep expertise in designing data-rich, decision-grade interfaces for enterprise users, who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. Here, you will take complete end-to-end ownership of the design craft across our reporting and intelligence surfaces — from research to wireframe to polished spec.
What You'll Do
- Product Design: Design intelligence-grade interfaces end-to-end, from research and wireframe through high-fidelity spec and design-system component. Translate product ideas and verbal briefs into complete Figma designs — from rough concept to pixel-perfect, dev-ready specs — covering full user flows, interaction states, and edge cases.
- Idea-to-Flow Translation: Capture ideas from stakeholders and PMs and convert them into intuitive, end-to-end user flows. Designs must feel cohesive, reduce cognitive load, and align tightly with brand guidelines across every surface.
- Information Architecture: Define the information architecture for dashboards, reports, and intelligence surfaces — turning dense, multi-source data into navigable, decision-driving experiences.
- Design System: Own and extend the Lickly design system: tokens, components, patterns, accessibility standards, and the documentation that keeps the team aligned.
- User Research: Plan and run user research with marketing executives, agency leads, and analyst end-users. Translate findings into design decisions and product priorities.
- Prototyping: Build high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in Figma to test flows, validate hypotheses, and de-risk implementation before engineering picks them up.
- Collaboration: Work closely with applied ML engineers, product managers, backend engineers, and front-end developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Design Quality: Conduct design reviews, maintain craft standards across the team, and ensure adherence to brand and accessibility best practices.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in product design (4+ years), including 2+ years designing for data-rich enterprise or analytics products.
- Design Craft:
- Hands-on mastery of Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and design tokens.
- Strong typography, layout, and information-design fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to design for dense data — dashboards, reports, charts, and analyst tools — not just consumer apps.
- Demonstrated ability to take an unformed idea and produce a complete, navigable user flow in Figma — not just isolated screens, but full journeys with transitions, empty states, and error handling.
- Brand Fidelity: Strong eye for translating brand identity (typography, color, motion, tone) into interface decisions. Designs should feel native to the product, not generic.
- Research & Strategy:
- Practical experience running discovery, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews.
- Comfort moving between strategic framing (what is the user actually trying to decide?) and pixel-level execution.
- Systems Thinking:
- Experience building or substantially extending a design system in production.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA at minimum) and how to ship to them.
- Collaboration:
- Comfortable handing off to engineering with clear specs, prototypes, and acceptance criteria.
- Familiar enough with HTML, CSS, and component-driven front-end frameworks (React, Vue) to communicate cleanly with developers — you don’t need to ship code,
- but you should know what’s easy and what’s expensive.
- Other:
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A bias toward shipping and iterating quickly.
- Ability to write clear design briefs, user stories, and acceptance criteria (Jira experience preferred).
- Bonus:
- Experience designing for AI-powered or recommendation-driven products where outputs are probabilistic.
- Background in marketing analytics, influencer marketing, or brand intelligence tooling.
- Motion design or prototyping in Framer, ProtoPie, or Principle.
- Published writing or speaking on design systems, information design, or enterprise UX.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with how cloud-hosted SaaS products ship and version (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure context) is advantageous.
- Understanding of safety, abuse, and content policy considerations for AI products.
