VP of Marketing — SphereNet Go-To-Market
About the Role
Sphere Labs is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead the global go-to-market strategy for SphereNet, our flagship blockchain settlement product. This is a full-time, remote position.
As VP of Marketing, you will define and execute how SphereNet enters, grows, and sustains presence in the market — shaping its narrative, positioning, and adoption strategy from the ground up. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and business development to craft clear, credible, and inspiring stories that connect with both crypto-native and institutional audiences.
This is a leadership role with a strong builder mindset: you’ll own the launch and long-term brand direction for SphereNet, while ensuring cohesion across the broader Sphere Labs ecosystem, including SpherePay. You’ll act as the voice of the brand, overseeing all external communications, from website hierarchy to press and community engagement.
The ideal candidate has deep crypto experience and a track record of successfully leading product launches or GTM campaigns with measurable outcomes — user growth, ecosystem expansion, or brand visibility. You bring the creativity and resilience of a growth hacker, coupled with the strategic rigor of an executive marketer.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Leadership
Lead the end-to-end go-to-market plan for SphereNet, overseeing positioning, messaging, launch execution, and sustained adoption.
Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and BD teams to ensure marketing alignment with product milestones and roadmap.
Identify high-leverage channels, partnerships, and narratives to accelerate SphereNet’s visibility across the blockchain and fintech ecosystems.
Build repeatable growth and acquisition systems that scale efficiently, with or without large budgets.
Work closely with BD and Growth teams on strategic pushes and messaging.
Brand & Messaging
Serve as the voice of the Sphere brand, establishing tone, messaging hierarchy, and communication style across all products and materials.
Shape the brand architecture and storytelling for both SphereNet and SpherePay, ensuring consistency and clarity across touchpoints.
Translate complex technical concepts into compelling and accessible narratives that resonate across crypto, fintech, and institutional audiences.
Growth, Demand Generation & Content
Develop and execute integrated campaigns that drive qualified traffic, engagement, and lead conversion.
Equip BD and sales teams with high-quality assets (decks, one-pagers, case studies, investor briefs).
Manage editorial output including blogs, newsletters, and thought leadership content that reinforces Sphere’s market credibility.
Build viral or community-driven growth loops that amplify SphereNet organically.
Public Relations, Media & KOL Strategy
Lead PR, influencer, and media strategy — serving as Sphere Labs’ main point of contact for press and industry partners.
Develop relationships with journalists, analysts, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) across platforms like X and LinkedIn.
Coordinate coverage, interviews, and media activations for leadership and product milestones.
Build and maintain a PR/KOL network aligned with SphereNet’s ecosystem and audience growth goals.
Analytics, Tools & Operations
Establish and track key marketing metrics to evaluate performance, optimize campaigns, and inform strategic decisions.
Implement tools and systems that improve marketing efficiency, reporting, and data visibility.
Present regular updates to the executive team on campaign performance, brand health, and ecosystem engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or growth roles — ideally within blockchain, crypto, or fintech startups.
Proven record of launching and scaling crypto products, with measurable impact on adoption, user growth, or brand recognition.
Deep understanding of crypto-native audiences, as well as experience bridging to traditional finance and institutional markets.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills; comfortable operating as the final word on brand voice and tone.
Experience managing PR, influencer, and KOL relations.
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability — comfortable leading both the vision and the work.
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment.
