Senior Project Manager – Utility-Scale Solar

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team and drive utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This role will focus on managing projects from late-stage development through to commercial operation, ensuring the highest standards in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety at every stage of project management
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth project transitions during construction and financial close-out
• Review and analyze EPC bids, support RFP negotiations
• Oversee change management processes and manage project schedules, deliverables, and cash flow
• Identify project risks and work with internal and external teams to implement mitigation plans
• Ensure compliance with all zoning, construction, and financial closeout conditions
• Coordinate regular project meetings and maintain effective communication
• Work closely with Project Finance Leads to ensure accurate financial modeling and milestone closeouts
• Manage key relationships with landowners, authorities, utilities, and stakeholders
• Support procurement teams in managing long lead equipment and cost accuracy
• Contribute to the development of project management tools and processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar or construction project management
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and time management skills
• Experience in managing high-voltage interconnection projects
• Preferred experience in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) management and construction
• Proficient in project management tools (Procore, Salesforce, SharePoint, etc.)
• Ability to travel 35% of the time

Location: Remote (preferably West Coast for easier support of Pacific Northwest sites)
