Senior Software Engineer (Rust / C++)

About the Role

• In this position, you will:
• Take ownership of the design, implementation, and maintenance of both on-chain and off-chain components related to decentralized data infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain smart contracts, SDKs, and internal tools to improve developer experience.
• Collaborate closely with business and product stakeholders to influence the project's direction and impact in the DeFi ecosystem.
• Contribute to open-source initiatives with clean, developer-friendly code and documentation.
• Support and mentor other engineers while upholding best practices in software development.
• Engage with the broader development community to understand their needs and improve product usability.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in software engineering.
• Background in backend development or low-level programming (e.g., Rust, C++) is essential; blockchain experience is a plus but not required.
• Interest or experience in Rust, Solidity, Python, or Typescript.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a globally distributed team.
• Experience or eagerness to work in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-quality engineering culture.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
