The Role
We are seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the global marketing strategy and operations for a leading blockchain foundation. In this leadership role, you will oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives aimed at driving adoption, increasing brand visibility, and supporting ecosystem growth.
This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for a senior marketing professional with a strong understanding of the Web3 space and a passion for innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the global marketing strategy, overseeing brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans across all core products and initiatives.
- Lead and scale a high-performing marketing team, including campaign managers, content creators, and community specialists.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, developer relations, business development, and community teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts.
- Manage the full lifecycle of multi-channel campaigns across digital, content, social, paid media, and community engagement platforms.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to inform strategic decision-making and positioning.
- Oversee the development of marketing infrastructure, tooling, and analytics to ensure efficiency, scalability, and measurable impact.
- Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI optimisation.
- Evaluate and manage external agencies and strategic partners to support campaign delivery and brand growth.
- Track performance and impact of community-led initiatives such as ambassador programs and influencer outreach, with data-driven resource planning and optimisation.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on marketing performance, campaign results, and strategic opportunities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a senior marketing role, with a strong background in strategy, operations, and team leadership.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, Web3 ecosystems, and the broader crypto industry.
- Proven ability to design and execute high-impact marketing strategies in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using marketing analytics and automation tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Self-starter with a passion for emerging technology and decentralised innovation.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working in blockchain organisations, DAOs, or community-centric platforms.
