UI UX Designer

🎯 Job Title: UI/UX Designer (Figma Expert) — Loan & eCommerce App Redesign

🕒 Type: Contract

📅 Duration: 2–3 months (with potential extension)

About Us:

Spean Luy is a Japanese fintech company in Cambodia offering digital micro loans and an integrated eCommerce platform through a mobile app. Our mission is to empower underserved customers by making finance and essential products more accessible — anytime, anywhere.

We are now redesigning our mobile app to elevate user experience, improve conversions, and simplify navigation.

🧩 Scope of Work:

You will work closely with the CEO, product lead, and local customer support team to:

• Redesign the entire mobile app (loan and eCommerce flows)
• Define typography, layout system, and color palette
• Improve new user onboarding and promo screens
• Create intuitive summary screens for loan and shopping activities
• Develop design systems and reusable components in Figma
• Collaborate with developers for hand-off and QA

🎨 What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of UI/UX experience with loan app and/or ecommerce app
• Strong Figma proficiency — design system, prototyping, dev handoff
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
• Able to balance modern UX practices with the realities of emerging markets
• Bonus: Familiarity with Southeast Asian or Cambodian user behaviors

📌 Nice to Have:

• Experience designing for mobile-first audiences with limited digital literacy
• Khmer language understanding is a plus (but not required)
• Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams
