Web Designer

We are a digital agency based in Bucharest, with international clients spanning various industries (e-commerce, B2B services, creative fields). We help our clients strengthen their online presence through websites that are engaging, functional, and results-oriented.

We’re currently looking for a Mid-Level Web Designer who is passionate about design and technology to join our team on a full-time remote basis. If you have a knack for building and implementing modern interfaces, read on!

What You’ll Do

• Concept & Design: You will create layouts and visual concepts for websites, either directly in WordPress (using Elementor) or in Figma first, then integrate the designs into WordPress.
• Elementor Implementation: You will customize and optimize pages using Elementor, ensuring a responsive, user-friendly design.
• WordPress & WooCommerce: You will set up and adjust themes and plugins (including WooCommerce for e-commerce projects) to get the exact look and functionality the client needs.
• UI/UX: You will enhance user experience by creating clear navigation flows, interactive elements, and well-organized content structure.
• Optimization & On-Page SEO: You’ll implement best practices (correct tags, heading structures, basic microdata) and collaborate with the marketing team to improve conversion rates.
• Web Animations: If you like adding a dynamic touch, you can incorporate CSS or basic JS animations to boost user engagement.
• Communication & Teamwork: You’ll collaborate with project managers, back-end developers, and the marketing department, especially regarding conceptualization, revisions, and feedback from our international clients.

Must-Have Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in web design (WordPress sites, landing pages, online stores), backed by a portfolio that shows off your skills.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 – basic JavaScript/jQuery is a plus.
• Proven experience with Elementor (creating custom layouts, responsive design).
• UI/UX: understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and best practices in navigation.
• Familiarity with Figma (for wireframes and mockups) or other design tools.
• Ability to organize tasks effectively and meet deadlines while working remotely.
• English proficiency (intermediate level or above) for documentation and occasional client meetings.

Nice-to-Haves

• On-Page SEO (tag optimization, meta descriptions, heading structure, page speed).
• Web Animations (CSS transitions, lightweight JS libraries) that elevate the user experience.
• Graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Basic PHP and MySQL knowledge to make minor theme/plugin tweaks.
