Role Overview:

We’re looking for a mid-level Software Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in modern JavaScript/TypeScript development to join our growing team in Tunis. In this role, you'll be working across the stack using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express, contributing to the development of robust, scalable web applications for clients in Europe and beyond.

You’ll be a key contributor in a cross-functional team of engineers, product owners, and designers, helping build reliable, clean, and performant code in a collaborative environment.

📌 This is an on-site role at our La Fayette office in Tunis. Please apply only if you can commute.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js
• Write clean, scalable, and testable code in TypeScript
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver features that improve the user experience
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues across services and tech stack
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and mentor junior developers when needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Experience with Next.js, Express.js, and RESTful API development
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices
• Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Good knowledge of Jira for task allocation and management

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Exposure to DevOps workflows or cloud platforms like AWS
• Understanding of performance optimisation and security best practices
