The time has come to recruit our first full-time in-house graphic designer. We're seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. This individual will play a key role in developing visually compelling packaging designs and engaging multimedia content for our social and e-commerce channels. Ideally the candidate has previous experience working in the vitamins and supplements industry. You will report to the Head of Brand and Content.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging Design: Create innovative, on-brand packaging artwork for our supplement products, ensuring high visual impact and adherence to industry regulations (FDA, FTC, DSHEA, etc.).
Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with regulatory and marketing teams to ensure all packaging and label designs meet current supplement labeling requirements and legal standards.
Social Media Content Creation: Develop creative assets—including static imagery, animated graphics, and short-form videos—for use across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and communicates our brand values effectively across all touchpoints.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and compliance teams to bring concepts to life from ideation to final production.
Trend Awareness: Stay up to date on design trends, social media best practices, and industry updates relevant to supplements and wellness branding. Preferably open to adopting AI tools.
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing supplement or food/beverage packaging.
Solid understanding of U.S. supplement packaging regulations and labeling requirements.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects or Premiere Pro).
Experience with video editing and motion graphics for social media.
Have a strong attention to detail, maintain accuracy with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working in a regulated environment or with compliance teams is a plus.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team.
Bonus Skills (Not required but preferred):
Experience with 3D rendering tools for product visualization.
Knowledge of photography and lighting for product shoots.
Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
