We’re a specialist ecommerce agency that supports ambitious brands in growing and improving their online presence. Clients come to us because we’re the experts - they rely on us to deliver strategic, user-centred design that aligns with commercial goals and exceeds customer expectations. We tailor our work to customer needs and commercial KPIs, helping businesses translate their brand into high-converting, engaging digital experiences.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team - someone who combines creative thinking with a deep understanding of ecommerce platforms and customer journeys. You'll be central to shaping the digital experience for our clients’ websites, with a strong focus on both usability and visual design.

_If you read this and it sounds like your ideal job — we want you on the team!

_What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end design process across a range of ecommerce projects - predominantly full replatforms. From early discovery sessions and audits through to UI kit creation and final concept presentation, you'll ensure the design work is purposeful, on-brand, and commercially effective. This is both a hands-on design role and a consultative one, where your insight will help shape outcomes.

You'll work closely with clients, developers, and product teams, as well as supporting our UX research offering. You’ll also help identify ongoing opportunities to enhance customer experiences post-launch.

The following should give you an idea of how you will be spending your time. It is not set in stone and it may change from week-to-week, but it gives an idea of what is expected from the role:

  • Facilitate and contribute to discovery and creative workshops with key stakeholders, including ideation, requirements gathering, and problem definition
  • Engage in research activities to build empathy with end users and identify challenges and opportunities for improvement
  • Translate research insights into wireframes, prototypes, user flows and high-fidelity UI designs for mobile, tablet and desktop
  • Lead the design of user-focused, scalable ecommerce experiences that improve conversions and customer retention
  • Create, document and maintain Design Systems with reusable components and well-defined styles to ensure consistency and long-term ROI for our clients. You will primarily be responsible for creating new patterns, guidelines and documentation, supporting our design and development team to rapidly build scalable, accessible and on-brand experiences
  • Produce design deliverables including wireframes, IA diagrams, workflows, prototypes and final UI designs
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and QA to ensure successful implementation and adherence to designs, SEO and accessibility standards
  • Advise customers on feature prioritisation, functionality and UX best practices to enhance the user journey and support business growth
  • Contribute to our internal UX practice—sharing trends, methodologies, and best practices with the wider team
  • Stay up to date with the ecommerce platforms and partners we work with and have an awareness of limitations and impacts to overall project costs before presenting design ideas to customers
  • Stay informed about mobile-first, responsive design, modern UI trends, and emerging tools.

Who You Are

Here’s an idea of the type of experience you’ve got along with an idea of what we think would be useful to also know:

Essential Skills And Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, including agency-side experience with ecommerce projects.
  • Extensive experience creating and scaling Design Systems with strong foundations in colour, type, layout, and responsive design
  • Demonstrated ability to create attractive, on-brand and user-centred designs that perform
  • Strong portfolio covering ecommerce journeys across product listings, PDPs, checkout, loyalty, post-purchase and more
  • Experience designing with real-world constraints such as platform and partner templated fields, and customer live product data and available content and imagery
  • Expertise in Figma and prototyping tools
  • Confident facilitating workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with UX research methods and a data-informed design approach
  • Knowledge of accessibility, SEO, and performance considerations within UX/UI
