Job Summary

The Lead Developer will be responsible for but not limited to overseeing the maintenance and reliability of our telehealth platform built on WooCommerce and React. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the timely completion of projects, and serving as the primary technical leader within the organization. The ideal candidate will be reliable, available during EST hours, and capable of addressing urgent issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee site maintenance and ensure the reliability of the telehealth platform.
• Manage integrations with external systems for medical providers to facilitate patient care.
• Implement and maintain webhooks, APIs, and payment gateways, including Stripe.
• Conduct code updates and manage plugins related to WooCommerce and React.
• Serve as the main technical leader, guiding the development team and making strategic decisions regarding technology.
• Be available for urgent support during EST hours (8 AM - 7 PM) and respond promptly to issues via WhatsApp.
• Monitor and optimize system performance to handle approximately 1000 transactions per day without hiccups.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development.
• Proficiency in WooCommerce and React.
• Strong understanding of webhooks, APIs, and payment gateway integrations.
• Experience with code updates and plugin management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Relevant certifications in web development or related technologies
• Proven track record of reliability and availability in a technical support role.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing.
