Job Description – Java Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Fullstack Developer with strong expertise in backend and frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and modern cloud/containerization tools.

Must-Have Skills

• Backend: Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, Mockito, JPA
• Database: Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/Oracle)
• Frontend: Angular (v9 or v12+), JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, CSS
• Strong understanding of building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs

Good-to-Have Skills

• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift
• CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Agile methodology experience

Key Responsibilities

Backend Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement REST/SOAP APIs for integration with frontend systems and external services
• Perform unit and integration testing using Mockito, JUnit
• Database design, query optimization, and management on MySQL/Oracle
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes

Frontend Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, RxJS, and CSS
• Collaborate with UX/design teams to implement high-quality UI components
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize frontend performance

General Responsibilities:

• Apply Agile methodology actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver high-quality software

Qualifications

• 6+ years of fullstack development experience with Java and Angular
• Strong backend development skills in Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL/Oracle)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in frontend technologies: Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, CSS
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
