- Optimize inference performance across GPU and CPU environments to improve efficiency.
- Research and apply principles of cognitive science to improve model interpretability, explainability, and robustness.
- Develop and integrate retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to enhance response accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cognitive scientists, software engineers, and UX designers.
- Evaluate and enhance ML models for real-world conversational AI deployment.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with a focus on NLP and cognitive modeling.
- Strong background in cognitive science, psychology, neuroscience, or a related field.
- Experience working with large-scale language models, transformers, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
- Expertise in optimizing AI models for GPU and CPU efficiency.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as Hugging Face, LangChain, or OpenAI APIs.
- Experience integrating AI models into production environments with real-time or near-real-time constraints.
- Knowledge of RAG techniques and their application in improving AI responses.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI/ML workloads.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with cognitive architectures, reinforcement learning, or neurosymbolic AI.
- Understanding of human cognition and its application to machine learning.
- Strong research background with publications in AI/ML and cognitive science.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or research-driven environment.
Why Join Us?
- Opportunity to work at the intersection of AI/ML and cognitive science.
- Engage in cutting-edge research and development of human-like AI systems.
- 100% remote role with flexible working hours.
- Potential for contract extension based on project success.
If you are passionate about building AI systems that think and respond more like humans, we’d love to hear from you!
