SoundThinking is looking for a Project Manager, who will be responsible for planning and executing ShotSpotter service deployment and expansion projects for customers from contract to successful delivery, handoff to customer service and support, and project close-out. Project Managers will have frequent contact with high-ranking customer officials, public officials, community leaders, and business owners to enlist and win their support for the program, drive forward progress, and ensure alignment on program expectations and goals. Resources from both internal and external resource pools, including Engineering, Installation/Field Service, Customer Success/Training, and Customer Support, will report into the Project Manager on a per project basis to ensure scope, deliverables, resources, schedule, and risk are effectively planned and managed. Success in this position will require thorough understanding of the entire operation from bringing new customers online, ShotSpotter hardware and software functionality, strong project management fundamentals, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. S/he will also contribute to development and improvement of strategies, tools, and practices that will lead to stronger project performance over time .

SoundThinking follows a hybrid schedule for employees who live equal to or less than 50 miles from one of our office locations, which include Fremont, CA, Tucson, AZ, Washington, D.C., or Iselin, NJ. Employees are expected to work onsite 3 days per week – the specific days are dependent on the office location.
