Job Title: Software Engineer – Developer (Virtual)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Remote) to support mission-critical software development for military and defense planning systems. This role contributes to agile software development, systems engineering, and DevOps initiatives that directly impact global mission planning capabilities across various military aircraft platforms.

This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work virtually while collaborating with cross-functional teams supporting logistics, defense, and aviation clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software across the full development lifecycle.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable, effective software solutions.
• Maintain and enhance system integrations and software product performance.
• Create and maintain architecture, interface specifications, and technical documentation.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve software reliability.
• Contribute to agile development cycles and continuous integration/delivery workflows.
• Improve development tools, workflows, and metrics to align with organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with C# / .NET.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and ReactJS/Redux.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing system architecture and software testing strategies.
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, JUnit, Cypress, Selenium).
• Understanding of software development patterns including microservices, REST APIs, monorepos, and SPAs.
• Background in military or mission planning software is a plus.
• Experience with system-level verification and validation.

Salary Range: $95,000 – $114,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
