As a Senior Data Scientist II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning and NLP solutions. You'll work on large-scale datasets across multiple domains, leveraging traditional machine learning, deep learning, and modern AI techniques to build intelligent, scalable, and production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for complex business challenges
• Develop NLP and information retrieval solutions including:
• Topic Classification
• Sentiment Analysis
• Entity Extraction
• User Intent Detection
• Build and optimize scalable machine learning and NLP pipelines
• Research and implement state-of-the-art AI and deep learning models
• Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, APIs, and open-source AI tools
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and project deliverables
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to solve business problems using data science
• Establish best practices for model development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong proficiency in Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and NLP
• Hands-on expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or similar deep learning frameworks
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda)
• Advanced knowledge of SQL programming and data modeling
• Proven experience building and deploying machine learning solutions at scale
• Familiarity with Spark, Elasticsearch, Solr, and Graph Databases
• Ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions
• Knowledge of Entity Extraction, Taxonomy Management, Knowledge Graphs, and Data Enrichment
• Background working with large-scale Legal, Financial, Business, News, or Enterprise datasets
• Familiarity with MLOps frameworks, model monitoring, and experimentation platforms
• Hands-on expertise in Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar search technologies
• Understanding of Graph Databases such as Neptune, JanusGraph, or equivalent platforms
• Ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies and select the most effective solution for business challenges
• Experience building and deploying scalable NLP and Information Retrieval solutions in production environments
• Proven track record of mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to technical leadership initiatives
• Exposure to cloud-based AI/ML platforms and enterprise-scale machine learning deployments
