Virtualization Engineer – VMware & Nutanix

Job Description

We are looking for a Virtualization Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. You will manage and support enterprise virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere 8, vSAN 8, VMware Aria, Nutanix (ESXi & AHV), and VEEAM backup & recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot VMware & Nutanix environments
• Monitor performance via VMware Aria Operations
• Automate workflows with VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator
• Manage VEEAM backups and disaster recovery processes
• Handle ITIL-based incidents, changes, and operational tasks
• Document procedures and collaborate across IT teams
• Work in shifts (Early 07:00–16:00 / Late 11:00–20:00) with on-call rotation

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with VMware & Nutanix platforms
• Knowledge of vSphere 8, vSAN 8, Nutanix ESXi & AHV
• Experience with VEEAM backup/restore in enterprise environments
• Fluent in English; other EU languages a plus
• Curious, proactive, strong communicator and team player
• Willing to work in shifts and on-call
