Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for implementing application solutions both in the cloud and on-prem as well as participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the DevOps space. This position assumes design and development activities as well as support for operational teams.
Your mission:
- Work closely with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects and development teams for continuous improvement
- Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.
- Completing code and scripting against APIs, as well as resolving product implementation errors
- Participate in research and development to deliver complex automation solutions
- Coordinate the technical integration with the internal IT tooling
- Work with the project managers using SAFE Agile methodology
Qualifications
- You are motivated and have passion for new technologies
- Solid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutions
- Enhance and drive automation and "Infrastructure as Code" delivery
- Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues, and develop tools/systems for task automation
- You ideally have 3+ years of experience in software development (Ansible, Python, Shell/Bash, Groovy)
- Experience with AAP (Ansible Automation Platform) is a plus
- An experience in a medium to large IT environment is a plus
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken). Any other European language is a plus
- Customer-oriented with the ability to receive and use constructive criticism
Your technical skills:
- Solid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutions
- Advanced knowledge of Ansible, Python, programming languages, Bash, Groovy, sed, awk
- Good knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab, HC Vault
- Basic knowledge of Splunk - General knowledge of database, middleware, Kubernetes
- Good knowledge of web services development
- Experience working on Linux and Windows based infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
