In this role, you will be responsible for building engaging and immersive gameplay experiences by designing core game systems, levels, environments, and interactive challenges. You will work closely with the Game Design team to implement and refine designs that align with the project’s overall vision and goals.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design level-by-level challenges for casual/puzzle games, propose level design solutions, and select the most optimal approach.
- Set up and fine-tune difficulty-related elements, including constraints, hinting, fail conditions, and pacing.
- Build levels/prototypes using Unity Editor or internal tools, ensuring that each level functions correctly according to the intended game mechanics.
- Organize internal playtest sessions, observe player behavior, consolidate insights, and adjust the design to balance difficulty, pacing, and progression.
- Carry out design iterations based on playtest results.
- Track player feedback and level performance metrics, such as fail rate, completion time, and drop rate, to identify issues and propose improvements.
- Optimize levels based on data and player observation, ensuring alignment with product goals.
- Prepare clear level sheets and design documentation, including objectives, flow, rules, hints, edge cases, and scenario specifications to support implementation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Work closely with Developers, Artists, User Acquisition, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs are properly integrated and aligned with shared goals.
3. REQUIREMENTS
K – Knowledge
- At least 1 year of experience in Game Design or Level Design for puzzle/casual games.
- Strong understanding of key areas in Game Design and how they collaborate within a project, including Level Design, Balancing, Narrative Design, and LiveOps.
- Strong logical thinking, solid understanding of puzzle mechanics, and the ability to design challenges and level variations.
- Good sense of layout and color composition.
- Data-oriented mindset and ability to make decisions based on data; understands key level performance metrics.
- Ability to build clear level plans and level flows for a sequence or cluster of levels.
S – Skills
- Proficient in design implementation tools, especially Unity Editor, preferably required, and supporting tools such as Photoshop, Canva, or Figma depending on project needs.
- Strong work organization skills, including deadline management, output-based execution, and quality standard alignment.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to present documents and solutions coherently and collaborate effectively with Developers, Artists, UA, and Product Owners.
- Able to guide or coordinate tasks for 1–2 Intern/Fresher members within the assigned scope.
