Position: SEO Marketing Specialist
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor
Working Hours: 8:30am -5:30pm EST
Salary Range: $1.200 USD monthly

Our client is a law firm that focuses on IRS and state Sales tax fraud defense. This includes audits from the receipt of a letter from the IRS, State, and/or City tax department, to IRS and Department of Justice criminal investigations of CPA's, business owners and individuals.
About The Role
The SEO Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to increase our website’s visibility, drive organic traffic, and improve search engine rankings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, a proven track record of successful SEO campaigns, and the ability to work collaboratively with our marketing team
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Perform keyword research and identify new opportunities to target relevant search terms.
- Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, content, images, and internal linking.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content, and page speed optimization.
- Create and implement off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and outreach campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing analyst to ensure all content is SEO-friendly and aligns with our marketing goals.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO software.
- Provide regular reports on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and conversion rates.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Optimize local SEO efforts, including managing Google My Business and other local listings.
- Assist with content creation and provide SEO guidelines for blog posts, articles, and web pages.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SEO Analyst or similar role, with a track record of successful SEO campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
- Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
- Experience with website analytics and performance monitoring.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
