Position Overview
- Role Purpose: Own our internal visual identity, driving the aesthetic execution of a major upcoming rebrand across paid advertising, organic social media, email campaigns, and our digital storefront.
- Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor (Offshore)

We are a rapidly growing women's direct-to-consumer (DTC) garments brand specializing in premium, cozy knitwear, intimates, and intentional comfort. Defined by a minimalist design aesthetic, soft, muted color palettes, and a deep focus on high-quality, everyday loungewear, our brand encourages slow living and authentic connection.
The Moment: Next week, we are officially rolling out an elegant, comprehensive global rebrand. We are transitioning away from external agencies to hire a dedicated, high-level Internal Visual Designer who can step into this new identity, digest our ethos, and breathe life into it across our paid acquisition, email retention, and web ecosystems.
Why This Role Exists
We are not looking for a passive order-taker, pixel-pusher, or basic directions-follower. We need a True Creative—an ambitious, aesthetic designer who can review our brand guidelines, intuitively absorb our soul, and run with projects autonomously.
You will partner directly with our Content Director to manage your own workflow. While we currently use an outside agency for website layouts and email campaigns, our goal is to bring that entire sandbox in-house to you if your execution is flawless. We need someone who can strike a balance between structural, pixel-perfect formatting and organic, raw, high-converting visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- High-Converting Paid Ads & Organic Social Creative
- Paid Acquisition Assets: Produce high-converting, premium paid social media ad creatives (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest) that capture attention in an overcrowded feed while maintaining our soft, intentional, minimalist luxury vibe.
- Organic Social Nuance: Design, edit, and optimize daily content for Facebook, Instagram, and other organic social channels. This includes premium lifestyle graphics, product benefit breakdowns, and compelling "before & after" visual layouts showcasing our garments, loungewear, and bras.
- Handwritten Assets: Weave native, human elements—such as custom digital handwriting, organic text overlays, and fluid, eye-catching visual textures—into static and video assets to maximize organic algorithm engagement.
- Digital Storefront & Retention Email Design
- Email Marketing Aesthetics: Design beautifully structured, highly editorial email marketing campaigns and flows (Klaviyo optimized) that drive community retention and highlight product drops.
- Website & Landing Page UI: Support and gradually take over the visual design of our Shopify website layouts, product detail pages (PDPs), and custom landing pages, successfully phasing out our external agency footprint.
- Rebrand Stewardship: Absorb our new brand book, colors, ethos, and typography rules, serving as the internal guardian for visual consistency across every single digital touchpoint.
- Autonomy & Workflow Architecture
- Self-Directed Delivery: Take high-level, sometimes vague creative briefs from leadership and turn them into functional, breathtaking design assets without requiring constant back-and-forth micro-instruction.
- Meticulous Quality Control: Maintain absolute file organization and deliver pixel-perfect, completely ready-to-publish assets under tight brand rollout deadlines.
Job Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6+ Years of Elite Graphic Design Experience: A strong background working with premium direct-to-consumer (DTC) fashion, CPG, women's apparel, or intimates/loungewear brands.
- Aesthetic & Minimalist Alignment: A portfolio that proves you understand subtle, high-end, editorial design layouts. If your style is loud, neon, or ultra-corporate, this is not the right fit for you.
- Omnichannel Growth Fluency: Proven experience building assets that convert. You must understand what makes people stop scrolling on Facebook/Instagram ads, what drives click-throughs in emails, and how to maintain a premium feel on a website.
- Organic Social Mastery: Deep understanding of modern social design trends (specifically leveraging custom digital handwriting fonts, organic textures, and clean side-by-side comparison structures).
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and modern digital prototyping tools (Figma or Canva for rapid layouts).
- Flawless English Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills to collaborate smoothly with our US-based Content Director and interpret abstract aesthetic feedback into final assets.
