Software Engineer (Golang)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes-native, cloud-based applications.
• Build and enhance backend APIs, focusing on Go and Python.
• Configure and extend Kubernetes using YAMLs, CRDs, and Operators.
• Enhance and maintain existing storage management software.
• Implement and promote best practices for software development.
• Deliver strong unit and automated feature tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure end-to-end feature delivery.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience in full-stack solutions.
• Proven experience developing Kubernetes-native applications in commercial environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native and containerized environments.
• Proficiency with Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Deep experience in backend API development, primarily using Go and Python (Go preferred).
• Additional experience with C++, C#, Node.js (nice to have).
• Experience with web services and API integration (HTTPS, REST, JSON).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes configuration (YAMLs, CRDs, Operators).
• Knowledge of open-source tools such as Prometheus, Ceph, Minio, Vault, Keycloak (nice to have).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with unit and automated feature testing (Mocha, Cypress, Ansible, Jenkins).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to work with customers and end users.
