Professional Engineer - Solar Permitting and Engineering (Remote Setup)

Overview

We are is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with multi-state licensure (California, Texas, and Florida) to lead our solar permitting and engineering projects. In this role, you will be responsible for plan stamping, regulatory compliance, training teams, and overseeing outsourcing agents with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan Stamping – Review and approve all solar project plans, ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations and industry standards.
• Expand Licensure – Obtain additional state licenses to support business growth.
• Training & Oversight – Provide guidance and training to internal teams and outsourcing agents.
• Regulatory Compliance – Ensure projects meet state and local engineering codes.
• Collaboration – Work with project managers, designers, and external partners for seamless execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Active PE licenses in California, Texas, and Florida (other states are a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar engineering, focusing on permitting and compliance.
• Strong understanding of structural and electrical aspects of solar projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
• Experience in training and overseeing teams or external partners.
• Familiarity with state-specific regulations in CA, TX, and FL.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 per year
