We are seeking a motivated and curious Production Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on learning new technologies, enjoys solving complex problems, and takes ownership of delivering effective solutions.

You will work on supporting and improving our Wallstreet System (WSS) platform and related applications, while gaining exposure to a diverse technology stack including databases, scripting, cloud, automation, and integration tools. The right candidate is not expected to know everything from day one but should demonstrate the drive and ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and contribute innovative ideas. Beyond the technical scope, you will also be encouraged to learn and understand the functional aspects of financial systems — gaining knowledge of trading, treasury, and financial processes

Key Responsibilities

Provide production support for Wallstreet System and related applications.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents — ensuring minimal business impact.
Support the integration of new features into production systems, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal disruption.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to deliver long-term solutions.
Automate repetitive tasks and improve monitoring/alerting processes.
Participate in deployments, environment maintenance, and configuration management.
Document solutions, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Stay curious: continuously learn new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance support efficiency and system reliability.

Desired Skills & Technologies

We don’t expect expertise in all areas, but a willingness and capability to learn is essential.

Wallstreet System (WSS) application support. (it is not necessary for the candidate to know the WSS system)
Programming & Scripting: Python, Bash.
Databases: T-SQL (SQL Server), experience writing queries and optimizing performance.
Operating Systems: Linux, Windows Server.
Applications & Integrations: Java-based applications, Denodo (data virtualization).
DevOps & Automation: Azure DevOps, Ansible.
Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Interest in learning financial concepts (trading, treasury, payments, risk, etc.).
