Job Description

Project – the aim you’ll have

The project focuses on a B2B application for managing EU social funds. It includes features such as cash flow management, invoice tracking, generating reports, and handling public customers' data. The project operates in a Scrum team with a total of 6 members, including Java developers, frontend developers, QA, Product Owner, and UX designers. The candidate is the Mid/Senior Javascript developer role in this team, although there are other specialists in different projects.

Position – How You’ll Contribute

• You analyze the existing Visual Basic code and identify optimization potential
• You redevelop the application in React Native or TypeScript
• You implement scientific calculation logic (formulas)
• You work on a project with high responsibility and direct C-level visibility
• You ensure high software quality through clean code, best practices, and testing
• You collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Confident handling of Visual Basic to quickly understand existing systems
• Solid experience with React Native and TypeScript (full-stack preferred, front-end focus possible)
• Knowledge of software engineering standards, clean code, unit testing, CI/CD
• Experience in client-facing roles / management interaction
• Advantageous: scientific background
