Project – the aim you’ll have
As a Dataverse Engineer within the Microsoft Power Platform, you will play a key role in designing, extending, and maintaining the data backbone that supports enterprise-grade business applications. Your work will ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across Dataverse and integrated services, enabling accurate, data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with DevOps Engineers, Software Developers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end, high-quality solutions.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Design, configure, and optimize Dataverse data models including tables, relationships, and business rules
- Develop and extend Dataverse capabilities using plugins (C#) and business logic components
- Build and support Model-Driven Apps tailored to complex business needs
- Develop and support automation workflows using Power Automate
- Integrate Dataverse with external systems and services
- Manage and monitor Power Platform environments (capacity, performance, security, access control)
- Ensure data quality, governance, and secure access via role-based security configurations
- Troubleshoot performance, integration, and environment-related issues
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, software engineering teams, and business users
- Use tools such as XrmToolBox and Power Platform Admin Center for diagnostics and maintenance
Qualifications
Expectations – the experience you need
- 4–6+ years of experience working with Dataverse and Power Platform solutions
- Hands-on development experience with Dataverse plugins using .NET/C#
- Solid understanding of Model-Driven App architecture, forms, views, and business processes
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
- Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Additional skills – the edge you have
- Experience with ALM, environment deployments, and automation using Azure DevOps or Git-based workflows
- PowerShell scripting for Power Platform administration and automation
- Dataverse Web API / Custom Connectors
- PCF controls (development or customization)
- Knowledge of Azure services such as Blob Storage, Azure Functions
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, PL-600)
