Our client;s Integrated Quoting System (IQS) is a platform that interacts with legacy quoting systems across ArcBest's business segments. It is built in a VB.NET/WPF client that communicates with legacy providers via WCF services. This project aims to integrate IQS with a new Expedite market API as part of a larger initiative to sunset an Expedite legacy system (InTrans) in Fall/Winter 2025. The required changes to the IQS platform involve updates to the current back-end structure and changes to the front-end client. The new Expedite Extension Provider (XP) will contain the logic necessary to quoting the Expedite market via IQS.
