• The primary role of this position is embedded software development for new product development and legacy product upgrade. This role will work in Hach R&D organization in partnership with other R&D functions and business units to meet the prescribed design requirements, schedule, and production readiness.

• Design the embedded software architecture based on specification and platform.
• Develop embedded software components based on software architecture.
• Follow embedded software development process to secure qualified deliveries.
• Debug the product’s software with development toolkits, familiar with embedded hardware and method of diagnostic.
• Working on embedded software feature upgrade and retrofit.
• Execute embedded software unit test and integration test.
• Responsible for software development documentation.
• Participate in process continuous integration. III. Education, Background and Skill Requirements
• Independent programming and debug experience in embedded C, with 12K line-of-code.
• Skilled in real-time embedded system.
• Experienced in using structured SW development methodologies and process.
• Experienced in application of real time control, user interface, communication.
• Understanding of defect tracking systems and configuration management tools.
• Experienced in unit test, integration test and acceptance test’s tool and development methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in the architecture and design of complex embedded software system.
• Experience of working with embedded Linux, Qt/QML is a plus.
• Understand agile development concept and practice.
• Good oral and written English skill.
• Experience in global company is a positive add on.
• At least B.S. Degree in Engineering fields.
• 3~6 years of experience in embedded product software and hardware development.
• Proficient problem solving and logic thinking.
• Quick in learning and understanding new products and technologies.
• Team player and interpersonal skill are required.
• Skilled in translate product specification into software production and define interface and dependency view with other components.
• Skilled in requirement management.
