Senior UI/UX Designer (Brand & Experience Lead)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior UI/UX Designer to lead all aspects of user interface, user experience, and visual design across the Gamecheck brand. This role is critical to shaping how users interact with our platform and how our brand is visually represented across digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with strategic thinking and have a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful design across web, mobile, and brand experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end UI/UX strategy, ensuring consistency and excellence across all Gamecheck products and platforms.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user journey.
• Lead the visual design language of the Gamecheck brand, including typography, colour systems, iconography, and visual standards.
• Collaborate closely with product, development, and marketing teams to bring user-centric designs to life.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and apply feedback to iterate and improve design outcomes.
• Oversee and maintain the Gamecheck design system to ensure scalable and cohesive design across all interfaces.
• Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across all user interfaces.
• Advocate for the user in all design decisions while aligning with business goals and technical constraints.
• Provide design leadership and mentorship across the organisation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with a strong portfolio across web, mobile, and branding.
• Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
• Deep understanding of user-centred design principles, interaction design, and visual storytelling.
• Experience building and managing design systems in a collaborative product environment.
• Strong knowledge of responsive and accessible design best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
• Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments preferred.
• Interest or background in the tech or online gaming industry is a plus.
